Warriors key players have big games as GSW advance to WCF.

Klay Thompson Reminding Oracle Arena Who He Is. (Game 6 Klay).

Golden State Warriors had a bounce back game one would expect, beating the Memphis Grizzlies 110-96, after losing to the Memphis Grizzlies by 39 points in game 5. All their stars played poorly en route to losing a crucial opportunity to put the Grizzlies away early and get rest for whoever came out of the Mavs/Suns series.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green as well as their star role players Adrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole all had horrific games in game 5 as GWS went on to lose, but that wasn’t the case Friday night at the Oracle Arena in San Francisco.

Stephen scored 29 points, pulled in 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists as Klay would go on to Score 30 points while grabbing 8 rebounds. Draymond scored 14, grabbed 15 rebounds, Wiggins score 18 and grabbed 11 rebounds and Jordan pool though not having a great game, shooting only 4-15 from the field chipped in with 12 points off the bench.

The surprise of the night was Kavon Looney and his ability to constantly get GWS extra possession opportunities on offense by grabbing 11 offensive rebounds and 22 total rebounds in the game. His presence on both ends of the court was huge and allowed Golden State to pull away in the fourth quarter, beating Memphis by 14.

The key to getting the win; extra oppportunities. “We remember how it felt in game five when we lost the possession game by a mile. We took advantage of it and it kept us in the game until our 4th quarter run. It was a great adjustment”, he said when asked how key were their game high 70 total rebounds to their win.

Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks each had good games with Brooks scoring 30 points keeping them in the game with big 3’s and Bane adding 25 points and 7 rebounds but Memphis just could not keep up at the end.

Next up for the Warriors are the Dallas Mavericks, who beat the Phoenix Suns in a game 7 eliminator Sunday night to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Game 1 starts Wednesday night at Oracle Arena.
