Eminem releases new music featuring Snoop Dogg

It’s been a long time since Eminem’s last album, but he’s back like he never left. This time, he’s releasing his new single “From the D to the LBC” with legendary and iconic rapper and music mogul Snoop Dogg.

Both artists have legendary careers and neither has released relatively new music within the last few years. To see these two artists release music together is a breath of fresh air for hip hop.

Snoop Dogg and Eminem have had their past issues with one another with Snoop Dogg, appearing on “The Breakfast Club” stated that he does not think Eminem is the GOAT (Greatest of All Time), while also stating that he doesn’t even have Eminem in his top 10.

Snoops exact words, “Eminem, the great white hope. White rappers had zero respect in rap, let’s keep that in mind, He has probably put Eminem in the position where he could be labeled as one of the top 10 rappers ever, I don’t think so but the gang feels like he’s top 10 lyricists and all that. That’s just because he’s with Dr. Dre.”

As expected, Em’ got wind of Snoop’s words and decided to answer back with a diss of his own, releasing a song “Zues” where he took shots at Snoop Dogg, saying “I'm used to people knocking me/But just not in my camp… Last thing I need is Snoop dogging me.”

He preceeded to take more shots “Man, dog, you was like a (Yeah) damn god to me Man, not really (Haha) I had “dog” backwards.” With both taking shots at each other, the issue was eventually settled, as both artists recently appeared on stage together at this year’s Superbowl Halftime Performance along with Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar. Snoop even apologized publicly to Eminem and said he wished he never dissed him.

Eminem is scheduled to release his newest album soon and many believe the title will be “Curtain Call 2” as he has made many hints to the album’s title. Now that the two have come together to give us some great music, take a look at the video and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
