T.I. Disses 50 cent After Calling Him Out For A Verzuz Battle
Rap star T.I. has just released a diss record aimed at fellow hip hop megastar 50 Cent over what seems to be a dispute from a “Verzuz” battle the two artists agreed upon 5 years ago while they were both pitching television shows to Hollywood producers in Los Angeles, California.
According to T.I. during a Million Dollaz Worth Of Game interview with podcast hosts Gillie Da King and Wallo, T.I. stated that he a 50 spoke on a Verzuz challenge (a platform created by hip hop producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland where two artists battle on stage with live performances of each other’s top 20 hits) and had agreed to do one with each other, and that he informed 50 that he would go public with it first, to which 50 agreed.
This conversation he mentioned happened 5 years ago, and according to 50’s Instagram during that time, T.I. waited a week to go public with the information, something maybe 50 expected him to do right away and seemed to have forgotten about.
50 stated at the time that T.I. should stop mentioning his name, respectfully and that it may not be good to come around 50 again because of his call outs.
That would seem like a pretty stern warning to most, however, to T.I. he must have not gotten the message.
He continued to call 50 out for Verzuz challenges in live performances, interviews and even in regular Instagram posts he’s made to his page.
50 Cent and T.I. have been going back and forth for years with each other, but now T.I. has made it official with an actual diss track.
Once 50 caught wind of T.I.’s call out in the MDWOG interview, he proceeded to put a post up of T.I.’s wife, Tiny and mentioned that T.I. needs to keep his name out of his mouth.
That post on IG has seemingly led up to the attack T.I. has aimed at 50, dropping a snippet called “War” and then the now released diss record circulating all through social media titled Right One.
