Steph, Klay and Draymond rejoice as Golden State Warriors defeat the Celtics to win 4th Title

The entire Warriors team celebrates as GWS defeat the Boston Celtics to win their 4th title in 7 years.

As the clock began to wind down to zero, an emotional Stephen Curry began to sit in the middle of the TD Garden basketball arena, overflowing with tears of joy.

The Golden State Warriors had accomplished their goal of getting back to prominence by beating the Boston Celtics, in Boston by a score of 103-90, after seeing some dark times in recent years with the Kevin Durant departure.

It’s been two long awaited years of injuries, hardship, and the belief that they were still the championship team they’d always been with or without Durant and last night, Curry and the crew proved just that.

Curry lead the Warriors with 34, going on to win finals MVP, but he definitely did not do it alone. Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins seemed to helped the Warriors go on a 2nd quarter run and open the lead to as much as 15 while Curry sat on the bench and watched.

Poole finished with 15, and Wiggins with 18, as they provided a spark that the usual “Game 6 Klay” Thompson could not, only scoring 12 points on 5-20 shooting with 2-8 coming from 3 point range. Curry also added 7 assists and 7 rebounds, playing a complete game and showing the world he is still one of, if not he best player in the NBA.

When asked how does he feel he said with a smile, “This one hits different. For sure.” Curry spoke on missing the playoffs and finals for 3 years, hearing how so many critics had the Warriors written off and combined it with the journey they had to take with young hungry talent blended with groomed veteran champions and couldn’t help but to boast a little.

The Warriors are NBA Champions again and now they look forward to repeating and doing it again next season.

Jalon Brown had 34 for the Celtics and Tatum struggled, scoring just 13 on 6-18 shooting but one would have to assume the Boston Celtics will be in the mix next year. Congratulations to the Boston Celtics for giving themselves a chance and congratulations to the Golden State Warriors for becoming the 2022 NBA Champions.
