J. Cole’s reputation has taken a hit ever since he decided not to engage in a rap battle with his fellow hip hop superstar pal Kendrik Lamar.

Although plenty of artists and fans have shared their support for Cole’s reasons, his hip hop peers have not all agreed with him.

Fat Joe is one of a few rappers, along with artists like 50 Cent have publicly voiced their displeasures with Cole’s lack of aggression at K. Dot, especially since many believe the rap feud was mostly started by Lamar.

Cole has since then continued to release music when he’s felt the urge and has continued to make quality music.

With new music on the horizon, should hip hop drop Cole from its elite rapper list because of his unwillingness to engage in a rap war?
