Is It Over For Diddy?
It seems that Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, better known these days as “Brother Love” has seen the last days of his professional career in the hip hop and the music industry and they may be over completely. That is a bold statement but let us explain the reasons behind it.
Over the course of this past weekend, CNN released exclusive footage of Mr. Sean Combs, known by the business mogul name of “Diddy” viciously and maliciously assaulting his former girlfriend and Bad Boy Entertainment artist Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Los Angeles on video, that hasn’t been seen for more than 8 years.
Diddy seen assaulting ex girlfriend Cassie at the former Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles, CA., released by CNN. Cassie believes Diddy allegedly paid hotel management $50,000 to suppress the video footage.
In the video that many have witnessed, Diddy can be seen chasing after Cassie as she attempts to leave him in the hotel room while he is sleeping, according to information she put in her civil suit she filed against Diddy last November.
Diddy goes on to punch and grab Cassie by the head and hair, he then throws her to the ground and kicks her twice in the back and the head.
He then attempts to drag her by her hair and hoodie back to the room as she fights him off. The video then shows Diddy sit up in a chair in the hallway and throw a glass vase at Cassie as he yells in her direction in muted audio.
Diddy has attempted to post an apology video over the weekend, specifying that he was facing dark times and was in a dark place. He spoke on how he hit rock bottom and apologizes for his ‘fucked up” behavior, as he said in the video posted directly to his Instagram account.
However, Diddy does not mention Cassie directly and does not really mention the domestic abuse encounter at the hotel specifically, instead just of his behavior as a whole.
Even after his apology, many people including Cassie, her legal defense team, Charlamane Tha God as well as others really don’t believe that he is truly sorry for his actions, and is in fact, sorry that he is actually caught doing these things in the video since it went public.
Many believe that Diddy is attempting to salvage his career, but don’t believe that it is enough to work.

To add to the domestic abuse and rape allegations filed against him in a civil suit by Cassie, Diddy is starting to see multiple alleged victims from his past come out and file lawsuits against him as well.
The latest, according to BBC News was a lawsuit filed on Tuesday by Crystal McKinney, “a former model and winner of MTV's 1998 Model Mission competition. She claimed she was "drugged and sexually assaulted" in 2003 by Combs following a fashion event in New York.” BBC News did attempt to contact Diddy's representatives for comment on the claims, but were unsuccessful.

According to the suit also obtained by TMZ written in the New York Post, Crystal McKinney claims “the rapper plied her with alcohol and possibly laced marijuana during the 2003 encounter, then brought her to a bathroom and forced her to her knees, demanding she “Suck it.”
McKinney reports that she remembered passing out after being given something to smoke that she believes was laced, and later remembers waking up the next morning in a cab.
All media outlets have begin reporting on the incident and are now sharing content and giving their opinions on how they view Diddy’s behavior he has been displaying lately due to the recent lawsuits.
TMZ has already done a documentary of Diddy titled the “Downfall Of Diddy”, which they produce and released on Tubi, and now more media networks are also beginning to put together documentaries on the allegations being brought forth toward Diddy as well.
Rap artist and business mogul 50 Cent has recently put together a deal with Netflix to produce a new documentary on Diddy’s recent issues, past transgressions and allegations that have all been in the media lately.
From his house being raided in Miami and Los Angeles by Homeland Security (due to sex trafficking allegations), to his recent domestic abuse against Cassie, witnessed in the video footage released by CNN and with many other victims now bringing civil suits against Diddy, there will be a lot to unpack as 50 plans to reveal it all.
