A Week Full Of Female Hip Hop Beef

Cardi B dropped her 2nd studio album “Am I The Drama” last week, and it’s pretty safe to safe that she is.

Following up her debut album “Invasion of Privacy” 7 years ago, which went 7 times platinum in the U.S. and 8 times platinum worldwide, Cardi unleased a new album aimed at many of her enemies, including her still but estranged husband Offset, with subs aimed at her rap rivals Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice and even City Girls’ new soloist JT, as well as many others.

Each one of the artists she mentioned took time to hit back at Cardi whether be it on social media or musically. JT & Cardi have traded jabs back and forth on X (formally known as Twitter) and so have Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.

The nastiest spat took place between both Nicki and Cardi, as both female the artists took aim at each other’s personal lives and families, but JT and Cardi had their vicious back and forth rants, as well as Ice Spice and Cardi as a leaked audio of Cardi B threating to beat Ice up made its way to the internet.

The hip hop scene for women has been fully on fire lately as Cardi’s new album continues to keep having viral moments, and it seems to stay lit for a while.

It’s also worth noting that during her argument on the phone with Ice’s management, Cardi took some shots at fellow artists Latto & Meg Thee Stallion, whom she’s featured with on records numerous times.

Even though Cardi did apologize to Latto online a day after the audio leaked, it’s interesting to see how that situation will play out moving forward.
